Oh the difference a year can make!
Last year I started doing something new- I started to believe in myself, MY process, MY success, MY potential. I stopped giving craps about what someone else was doing, what someone thought of me and started to focus on me. I started to look at what I wanted my life to look like, how I would commit to my own process and how I wouldn’t give up on a better life with more energy, confidence and less pain.
Turns out, I just needed to work on my mindset, emotional healing and work on eating when I was hungry and stopping when I was satisfied. I started to be intentional with planning my food. That’s it. I cut out the diet drama, stopped looking to the world to validate my existence, stopped obsessing over balance and started on the inside. I started coaching myself

When you think of failure, what are your thoughts? Do you think of failure as a good thing or a bad thing?
I used to look at failure as proof that I wasn't getting where I was going. It was evidence that I'd use against myself to quit, give up and chase something else. But failure is NOT evidence to stop. It's evidence you are trying and learning what will work.
So quick reminder:
When you're making a change in your behaviors and habits; failure, backtracking, and mess-ups are a normal part of the journey to creating consistent behaviors. Life is never in a state of perfection, so it's normal to have a "cha-cha" with behavior change when you are faced with a challenge, learning a new habit, environment change or any other change in routine.
What's amazing about the human spirit is our ability to adapt and overcome circumstances- even when it's hard. Start small and do what you can. It's better...
I share lots of pictures with my adorable kids, but not everyone knows that we went through 4 miscarriages and a lot of tests to have our kids. Pregnancy loss can be traumatic and impact a woman's identity, self-image, and mental health (that said it can also impact men but this podcast I'm focusing on the perspective of women).
In this podcast I open up about our story and also how to support those going it. In the show notes you'll find lots of resources for articles, support groups and podcasts to help you <3. See you there!
