Failure Is a Part of the Change Process

When you think of failure, what are your thoughts?  Do you think of failure as a good thing or a bad thing?  

I used to look at failure as proof that I wasn't getting where I was going.  It was evidence that I'd use against myself to quit, give up and chase something else.  But failure is NOT evidence to stop.  It's evidence you are trying and learning what will work.

So quick reminder: 

When you're making a change in your behaviors and habits; failure, backtracking, and mess-ups are a normal part of the journey to creating consistent behaviors.  Life is never in a state of perfection, so it's normal to have a "cha-cha" with behavior change when you are faced with a challenge, learning a new habit, environment change or any other change in routine.  

What's amazing about the human spirit is our ability to adapt and overcome circumstances- even when it's hard.  Start small and do what you can.  It's better...
